So should you invest in altcoins?
Many crypto investors believe that an optimal strategy involves some level of diversification into altcoins. In other words, instead of holding Bitcoin as your only digital asset, they recommend allocating a certain percentage of your crypto portfolio to at least a couple of altcoins as well. One of the reasons for this that altcoins potentially have much higher ceilings than Bitcoin – since they still have so much room to grow.
Bitcoin Maximalists, on the other hand, believe that Bitcoin is the one and only true cryptocurrency and will be the only one left with any real value at the end of the day. They don’t believe that other digital assets offer useful features. They feel that Bitcoin is all we need.
